Month of June at Queen Camel

A busy month with regular fixtures. The highlights being a good win at Chard and a very close game at Sherborne. Considering Sherborne had only dropped 1 point in their first five matches it was always going to be difficult. However winning on 2 rinks made it a close match only losing overall by 4.

It is encouraging to also see our new players on the green for matches. So a big welcome to Martin, Sandra & Janice and the return to the Club of Sean

Continued work on the Green on Tuesday & Thursday mornings and even with the unusual hot weather the Green is looking better and playing more consistently.

Regular Club nights on Tuesdays starting at 5.30pm. The Umbrella competition for members and also more casual bowling for beginners. An ideal time to come up to the Club to get a feel as to what goes on and have a go!
